Our team recently attended the OTF Studio Optical Coating Design Workshop in Jena, Germany

Three days of deep dive into thin-film coating design — from core software logic and advanced synthesis methods to optical monitoring strategies and new features currently in development.

What made it especially valuable: the format was hands-on throughout. Working through real engineering cases, not just listening — that's where the learning actually happens. It was great to see our everyday coating challenges from a fresh angle and understand where the toolset is heading next.
